Unlike many of our ‘competitors’, all of our limousines available in the London areas are licensed by the Public Carriage Office, who operate on behalf of Transport for London. This licensing ensures that our chauffeurs are CRB checked (criminal records bureau), our limousines are subject to regular, stringent tests and that our business operates to agreed standards. This type of licensing is quite expensive and requires a huge investment in time and appropriate vehicles. Because of this, the majority of London based limousine companies do not bother to register for private hire through the PCO, in fact there are currently less than 15 limousines that are licensed by the PCO. Some organisation prefer to register their limousines as a minibus and other don’t even bother to do that, they just use a self-drive hire contract and a ‘contracted in’ chauffeur. This means that the client has very little oversight or protection, as would be the case with a PCO licensed vehicle.

Outside London, once again, our limousines and chauffeurs are all registered with the local authority for private hire. We do not believe in short cuts in terms of service, reliability, vehicles, staff and in particular licensing. In spite of our location and licensing obligations, our vehicles are modern and our prices are competitive.
